Five red lights will go out over Istanbul again. At World Travel Market London on 3 November, Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy put Formula 1’s 2027 comeback at the heart of Türkiye’s pitch, listing it beside international football matches, concerts and other major events, Turkey Daily News reported.
The race now has a firm date. TOSFED Istanbul Park will host the Turkish Grand Prix from 1 to 3 October 2027, with the race on Sunday 3 October, under a five-year agreement running through 2031.
